Moonless Wake Fleet
The Moonless Wake is less a fleet in the traditional sense and more a shifting procession of haunted ships, cultic vessels, and illusion-shrouded phantoms. Wherever they go, fog clings, whispers rise, and dread precedes them. The ships of the Moonless Wake often appear unnaturally silent, their sails fluttering in nonexistent wind, with crewmembers staring unblinking from beneath bone-white masks.
The fleet’s movement is guided by omens, stars obscured by ash, and the dreams of its matron, Warcaptain Maelen Draethe. To cross paths with this fleet is to gamble not just with one’s life, but with one’s mind and memory.
Doctrine & Culture
Symbols, Colors & Insignia
The fleet flag is a black field featuring a waxing crescent moon impaled by a raven’s feather, dripping black ichor into a silver sea. When the flag is flown inverted (black moon on a white field), a ritual is underway and no ship may approach or leave the fleet until it ends.
