Aurea
Ranuccio Ozzo, a wealthy wool trader and rising banker used his political acumen (and, it is believed, quite a bit of bribery) to bring about the collapse of a coalition of Trevan baroni and declares himself Principe of Treva. He begins construction on a lavish palace in Modegna and, despite some murmured objections from the landed aristocracy, his claim not only goes uncontested, but celebrated in Modegna. A month later, the Church of Paelemona the Spinner formally recognizes Ranuccio's claim and the foundation of Casa Ozzo.
