- A drought strikes southern Duria and the last of the Arisan elves depart their forests to seek sanctuary in the city of Neptag. To commemorate the event, the half-elven King of Neptag, Orris, renames the city Neptaris.

- At the age of 105, the half-elven King Orris of Neptaris abdicates his crown after failing to resolve a rebellion by Politos of House Rimman. As his last act of office, Orris designates his mentor, Regent Joandar, to select his successor. He then takes the cloth and becomes a monk of Clementia the Dove.
