The Fathomed Eye Fleet is a ghostlike presence on the Betshaban Ocean, feared not for its brutality but for its precision and foresight. Flying a black banner marked with a single silver eye, its iris a whirlpool, weeping four pale rays, the fleet is commanded by Warcaptain Shulra Vexh, whose calm strategies and unnerving prescience have earned her a near-mythic reputation. At its heart is the Vexillum Aes, a twin-masted cutter capable of sailing without wind, flanked by three outrunner corvettes armed with alchemical harpoons and smoke-lanterns for signal obfuscation. The crew of the Eye follows an austere code: silence during maneuvers, no gambling, strict discipline in engagement, and a reverence for fate as something neither to be mocked nor provoked. Their tactics favor ambush under fog or false fires, disabling rudders or sails before boarding, and always leaving a path of retreat meticulously mapped. To sail near them is to wonder whether you're being hunted... or already ensnared.
