Zelos
Zelos Goldenhand is god of the state and protector of stable governance, regardless of its form. In the Aebasan tradition, he is a staunch supporter of democracy, while in the Imperial traditions he supports the rule of the Emperor. As Ptharos is often referred to as Grandfather of the Gods, Zelos is the Father of the Gods, having sired Ladon Stronghands, god of work, Meliboea the Farseer, goddess of justice, Taygete the Bringer, goddess of childbirth, and Thalia the Hearthwoman, goddess of the hearth. Because of his support of established governments, his clergy are typically accorded much respect and have great political power, despite having few direct worshippers. The authoritarian Holy See of Cambrecia is dedicated to the worship of Zelos.
Symbols
The holy symbol of Zelos is the Goldenhand, a right hand, palm out, fingers closed together, always in gold (though less wealthy worshipers often must settle on something with gold inlay or leaf).
Dwelling Place
Esarru, the Hall of Splendor, high on the peak of Mount Hurasgal in the mountain range of Kar-gur in Anadimtu, the High Realm.

- Diligence: competence and industry in the discharge of one's duties.

- Usurpation: seizing power outside legitimate succession.
- Regicide: killing a legitimate ruler to seize or disrupt succession.
- Rebellion: organized insurrection against lawful authority
- Tyranny: governance turned to personal indulgence at the state's expense.
- Treason: betraying one's sworn state or sovereign to an outside power.
- Sedition: fostering unrest that corrodes public faith in legitimate rule.
- Factionalism: elevating party or faction above the continuity of the state itself, as in Cambrecia's own Zelosian Schism.
- Corruption: bribery or self-dealing in office.
- Plunder: looting the commonwealth's wealth or resources for personal gain
- Deception in Office: using illusion or spycraft to corrode institutional trust
- Dereliction: neglect of sworn duty.
- Anarchy:the wholesale rejection of governance and law.
