The ancient enemy of Aebasa, the Bakali worship Phlegethon, god of tyranny and believe it their destiny to rule the world. Over 3,000 years ago, they held an empire that spanned from the Eternal Ocean in the west to Lagorkan Gulf in the east. Their power waned at the end of the Second Age of Man and their borders eventually reduced to their modern limits. Decadent, cruel society more interested in its deadly sport and finding new ways to pushing traitors than do any actual conquering.
