By this point, his legion is mostly composed of foreign legionnaires loyal to him personally as their patron. Hearing rumors that the Senate was planning to arrest him for despotism, M. Argentis personally initiated his own Triumph through Zeth. When the Senate saw the popular support that M. Argentis received, they quickly acknowledged his heroic status and showered him with accolades, including a titular grant as Dux Duriae (Duke of Duria). M. Argentis returned to Duria to continue his conquests.
