|overview= Brother Hypatius is the youngest of [[Marcus Basileios|Basileios’]] three sons at 20 years of age, and is currently the only offspring of his marriage to the [[Theodora_of_Dracar|Lady Theodora]]. A man of his early twenties, Hypatius was recently accepted as a monk of the Triad, though he still resides in his father’s new castle. Brother Hypatius is generally known as a gentle (some would say simple) man with robust features, like his father. He has recently taken an interest in the accounts of the Marches, and may attempt to convince his father to permit the Church of the Triad to handle the bureaucracy of running the affairs of state. Of course, [[Victor Sgouros|Chancellor Sgouros]] is highly opposed to the concept, but seems willing to trust that the Prefect will not turn over too much power to the priests of the Triad.
